College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology was established on 9th May, 2008 by the Government of Gujarat under Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana in tribal area at Godhra under jurisdiction of Anand Agricultural University. The college is located on Godhra-Dahod highway at Dholakuva with its unique architectural infrastructure with beautiful landscaping in and around the college building. The CAET Godhra has mainly four departments having rich faculties of Soil & Water Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, Renewable Energy and Farm Machinery and Power Engineering. It has well equipped laboratory including GIS lab, good workshop with CAD-MAC, modern classrooms, conference room, seminar hall, etc. All departments along with computer lab have full access to internet facilities for academic and research purposes, good hostel facilities for boys and girls, good mess facilities for food, etc, are the some key features of this premium institute. The principal who is also a Dean of Agricultural Engineering faculty looks after 4 year degree courses, PG courses, diploma courses as well as vocational courses in the field of agricultural engineering. Diploma courses are being under taken at Dahod Polytechnic. The main objective of this college is to produce and provide good quality agricultural engineering expert/main power suitable for research, education, government agencies, private sector, agro-industries, NGOs, etc.
