The aim of NSS is to motivate and encourage the NSS volunteers to serve the poorest of the poor living in the slums/or at the interior area of the corner of the country. National Service Scheme, is running in the department of Extension Education. The activities of N S S is divided in to two forms in terms of regular as well as special activities. In case of regular activities the one camps are being organized in the contemporary issues like eradication of Polio HIV/AIDS , environment protection, etc as per the guideline of youth office of state level authority. While in case of special camp it is being organized in the villages to aware the village people about the latest updation of social, cultural as well as local problems along with their solution at the door step of the villagers. The volunteers are staying for 7 days in the village and organize the day to programme with the help and participation of the local people in the villages.
