A Word From The Vice Chancellor

In the rapid changing global scenario, the quality agro-inputs and products at competitive pricing with consumer awareness along with environmental sustainability are the key elements for development of sophisticated, remunerating technologies for commercialization as per the demand of farming community and public. In view of this, Agri-business through BPD is the new venture of AAU for TOT and PPP for number of developed products and advanced technologies. The BPD unit is established as part of the National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP-I, ICAR). This is also in national network to support innovators who want to start new agri-businesses across agricultural sectors, animal husbandry, dairy, veterinary, fisheries, agriculture and horticulture. This agri-business incubator (AAU BPD) is working for public awareness about exciting opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs in a win win relationship.
