The Jabugam Farm well known as seed farm was started long back in 1958-59. It was started under District Panchayat, Vadodara as a Seed Multiplication Centre. Later, it was handed over to Revenue Department of State. Finally, this Farm became a part of Anand Agricultural University in February, 2009. Since then, agricultural research activities are being carried out at this farm. Later in 2012-13, the Government of Gujarat vide its resolution "ઠરાવ ક્રમાંક : અ ક વ - ૧૨૨૦૧૧-૮૪ ક. ર., તા. ૧૯/૦૪/૨૦૧૨" sanctioned the College of Agriculture as a wing of B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand and it was decided to start this college at Jabugam campus. However, the educational activities started at this college during the year 2013-14 with intake capacity of 30 students. At present, total 167 students of first, second and third year are pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree programme. Eighth batch of 45 students have passed out during June 2024 from the college. The Twelth Batch will be admitted during the year 2024-25.
