Name of the Head of Department: Dr. B. L. Dudhat
About the Department
The Department of Social Sciences was established in March 2020. This department offers courses in Agricultural Economics, Extension Education and Statistics. It contributes in creating human resources in the different field of Horticulture as well as giving inputs/policies to strengthen farmer-scientist linkage through different research findings. The department is also involved in different extension activities such as krushimahotsav,organizing workshops, seminars, training programmes and delivering talks/lectures.
