The variety contains higher flavonoid (0.045%), total antioxidant activity (0.276%), ascorbic acid (13.23 mg/100g), acidity (0.275%), total chlorophyll (0.482 mg/g) and capsaicin (0.234%) to the check GVC 121. This variety has lower chilli leaf curl disease, fruit damage by fruit borer and number of thrips/leaf as compared to the check GVC 121. |
