The Agricultural engineering is the discipline that applies engineering science and technology to agricultural production and processing. Agricultural engineering combines the disciplines of mechanical, civil, electrical and chemical engineering principles with the knowledge of agricultural principles Department of Agricultural Engineering is one of the important components of College of Agriculture, Vaso. The Department is engaged in teaching, research and extension activities at undergraduate and polytechnic level. |

Training / Farmers Related / Activities
• Department is imparting training to the extension workers, officers and field staff of the line department of the state and field workers of NGOs to develop their skill for improving Farm mechanization, efficient use of irrigation water, Land & water management and judicious use of natural resources.
• Actively participating in Krushi Mahotsav, Krushi Mela, Khedut Din, Khedut Shibir, Seminar, Radio and television programme time to time.
• Department is also imparting training to the students of various rural academic institutes.
• This department is also guiding farmers, disseminating farm related useful information and advisories through press notes in newspaper, literatures, booklets, leaflets, and pamphlets etc.
