  • Farmers of middle Gujarat Zone AER -6 who wish to cultivate Isabgul (PlantagoovataF.) are advised to grow Sharpankho (Tephrosiapurpurea)during monsoon as green manure (60 kg seed/ha) to produce a higher Isabgol seed yield (33.33%).
  • For the effective and economical management of downy mildew in Isabgol (G.I.2) sowing of Isabgol on 30th November is recommended in Middle Gujarat condition.
  • Ashwagandha
  •  Farmers of Middle Gujarat Agro Climatic zone-III are advised to sow Ashwagandha between 15th  October to 30th October with 8 kg/ha of seed rate to obtain higher yield and net profit.
  •  Three sprays of Mancozeb (0.3%) or split (0.2%) or Rovrol (0.2%) at 15 days intervals starting from just after the appearance of the leaf blight of Asgand are recommended for successful control of the disease.
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone-III growing ashwagandha crop in rabi season are advised canopy manipulation of 50% leaf at 75 DAS for getting higher dry root yield as well as quality roots.
  • Safedmusali
  • Farmers of middle Gujarat Zone AER-6 are recommended to cultivate Safedmusli using the planting material of approximately 5 g bunches (2-3 tubers), applying 5-ton poultry manure or 10-ton FYM / ha with a spacing of 30 x 15 cm to obtain the highest fasciculated root yield.
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic Zone-III who wish to cultivate Safedmusli are advised to remove the inflorescence to get about 30% higher fasciculated root yield.
  •  Farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic Zone-III who wish to cultivate Safedmusli (Chlorophytumborivillianum) are advised to plant a single fasciculated root at 10 x 10 cm spacing to get high production of the fasciculated root.
  • Kalmegh
  • Farmers of Middle Gujarat Agro Climatic zone-III (AES-II) are advised to grow kalmegh by applying the FYM @ 10 t/ha or Castor cake @ 1 t/ha with the spacing 30 cm X 15 cm to obtain higher yield and net realization.
  • Farmers of Middle Gujarat Agro-climatic  Zone-III growing  Kalmegh are advised to get optimum dry biomass production (panchang) without a decrease in  Andrographolide content, by transplanting the 45 days old seedlings in the first fortnight of July and harvesting it in the second fortnight of  November.
  • Sankhpushpi
  • Farmers of Middle Gujarat Agro Climatic zone-III are advised to sow Shankhpushpi between 15th June to 30th June with 6 kg/ha of seed rate by maintaining raw spacing 45 cm and commence the harvest in the month of October, cutting at the ground level, with subsequent two harvests at 90 days intervals i.e. in January and in April to get higher dry bio-mass yield, net profits and CBR.
  • Vernonia
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone growing vernonia in rabi season are advised to apply FYM @ 10 t/ha along with 25 kg/ha nitrogen as a basal dose and 25 kg nitrogen/ha as a top dressing after 45 DAS for securing higher seed yield and net return.
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone-III (AES-P1-2) growing vernonia in rabi season are advised to sow vernonia at 1st week of October with 45 cm between row and thinning at 5 cm plant to plant at 20 days after sowing for securing higher seed yield and net return.
  • Dodi
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone growing Dodi crop in Kharif season are advised to irrigate the crop at 1.0 IW/CPE ratio (after the first cutting i.e. 90 DATP) for securing higher dry biomass yield and net return.
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone-III growing dodi crop in Kharif season are advised to manureddodi with 10 t FYM/ha at basal application for securing higher dry biomass yield and net return.
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone-III growing dodi crop in Kharif season are advised to spray Urea @ 2% with  Potassium chloride (KCL) @ 2% at 45 and 75 days after transplanting and after each cutting for getting higher dry biomass yield as well as net return.
  • Farmers of Middle Gujarat Agro Climatic zone-III are advised to sow Dodi as a crop with the spacing of 60 cm X 60 cm and should cut/harvest thrice be done at an interval of 90 days from DAP to obtain high dry bio-mass yield and net profits.
  • BhoyAmali
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone-III growing Bhoyamali(Phyllunthusfraternus) in Kharif season are advised to sow Bhoyamali at 1st week of July with broadcasting or 15 cm spacing between row for securing higher dry biomass yield and net return.
  • Guggal
  • Root feeding of Ethrel(40% aqueous solution) in Guggalrecorded 5 times higher gum yield as compared to the control  (unfed check).  The suitable time for gum tapping was found to be January to February under Anand condition of Gujarat.
  • Artemisia
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat Agro-climatic zone planting Artemisia in rabi season are advised for planting at 3rd week of December with spacing of 60 cm x 60 cm for securing higher dry biomass yield and net return.
  • Basil
  • The farmers of middle Gujarat agro-climatic zone cultivating basil (GAB1) in Kharif season are recommended to transplant basil during the 3rd Week of July with the spacing of 60 x 45 cm for securing higher dry herbage yield and net return.
