<p class="rtejustify"> In Middle Gujarat, GT 106&nbsp; recorded <strong>50.72, 21.44, 23.63</strong> and <strong>12.68</strong> per cent higher yield (<strong>1842 kg/ha</strong>) over the checks BDN 2, AGT 2, Vaishali and GJP1, respectively. In North Gujarat, GT 106&nbsp; recorded <strong>23.16, 25.37, 21.73</strong>, and <strong>22.33</strong> per cent higher yield (<strong>1853 kg/ha</strong>) over the checks BDN 2, AGT 2, Vaishali and GJP1, respectively. This variety matured in 165-175 days, having green colour with constricted pod, posses 4-6 seeds, high yield potential with resistant to wilt &amp; moderately resistance to SMD under the natural field condition.</p>

It gave 34.02, 15.01 and 27.54% higher seed cotton yield and 34.87, 26.67 and 27.28% higher lint yield over check varieties G. Cot.21, ADC 1 and GADC 2, respectively in the rainfed condition&nbsp;of&nbsp;Gujarat&nbsp;state. Variety recorded 44.8% ginning out turn, and fibre length of 22.7 mm, fibre fineness of 5.1 &micro;g/inch and bundle strength of 22.5 g/tex. The variety is moderate tolerant to major disease and pests.</p>

<p class="rtejustify"> Superior in panicle length and number of grains / panicle, it is mid-late maturing, non-lodging and high yielding aromatic medium slender grains variety. Moderately resistant to bacterial leaf blight, sheath rot, leaf blast and resistant to neck blast. Moderately tolerant to gall midge (GMB), stem borer and leaf folder insect-pests.</p>
