The plant of this variety has strong intensity of anthocyanin colouration of nodes, absence of stem pubescence and dark intensity of leaf colour. Fruits have medium intensity of green colour with smooth texture, strong glossiness and non pungent taste at unripe stage.

The non pungent variety depicted 69.23 <em>per cent</em> higher green fruit yield than the check AVNPC 131 in Gujarat. The variety contains higher antioxidant activity (0.112 %) as well as total soluble sugars (3.00 %) and lower content of capsaicin (0.088 %) as compared to the check AVNPC 131. This variety has lower or comparable level of chilli leaf curl disease, fruit damage by fruit borer and number of thrips/leaf than the check AVNPC 131. </p>
