<p> The variety contains 0.54% true protein, 92.17 mg/100g ascorbic acid, 0.028% flavonoids and 1.41% crude fiber which are higher than check CO 1. It has less prevalence of bitter gourd mosaic virus and powdery mildew disease reaction as well as lower infestation of fruit fly as compared to the check CO 1.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p>

<p> The variety contains higher flavonoid (0.045%), total antioxidant activity (0.276%), ascorbic acid (13.23 mg/100g), acidity (0.275%), total chlorophyll (0.482 mg/g) and capsaicin (0.234%) to the check GVC 121. This variety has lower chilli leaf curl disease, fruit damage by fruit borer and number of thrips/leaf as compared to the check GVC 121.</p>

<p> Fruits contains higher total antioxidant activity (0.373 mg/100g) and carotenoid (4.93 mg/100g) as compared to the check varieties. Less or comparable prevalenceof little leaf disease reaction, jassid, whitefly as well as shoot and fruit borer damage as compared to the checks.</p>

Under natural field condition, this hybrid has comparable chilli leaf curl disease incidence as well as fruit borer and thrips infestation comparable to the check GAVCH 1.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="rtejustify"> The non pungent variety depicted 69.23 <em>per cent</em> higher green fruit yield than the check AVNPC 131 in Gujarat. The variety contains higher antioxidant activity (0.112 %) as well as total soluble sugars (3.00 %) and lower content of capsaicin (0.088 %) as compared to the check AVNPC 131. This variety has lower or comparable level of chilli leaf curl disease, fruit damage by fruit borer and number of thrips/leaf than the check AVNPC 131.&nbsp;</p>
