The roots of our institute run deep. While Sheth D. M. Polytechnic in Horticulture was formally established in 2009, the land it stands on has been a beacon of agricultural progress since 1892, established as the "Model Farm" by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad.
In 1937, a generous donation by Smt. Jashumatiben in memory of her husband, Sheth Dosabhai Maganlal, paved the way for the Agricultural School, which has now evolved into a premier Polytechnic for Horticulture education in Gujarat.
