The College of Agriculture, Jabugam situated on the state high way of Bodeli-Chhotaudepur, six kilometers away from Bodeli in the pure atmosphere of rural area has luscious green campus of about 20 hectares of fertile land with abundant ground water which in true sense provides an excellent opportunity for pursuing agricultural education leading to B. Sc. (Hons) Agriculture degree programme. The full time residential academic schedule is of eight semesters for graduation with the combination of three mutually supportive segments-classrooms, laboratory and field work which aims at preparing the students with enough capacity so that they can face the challenges in agriculture and contribute to the growth of agriculture for the development of the nation. Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme (RAWEP) for six months during seventh semester provides a unique opportunity to the students to experience the real problems of farmers and ELP (Experiential Learning programme) for six months during eighth semester inculcates in them the spirit of entrepreneurship with confidence building.  Apart from this, the students also get the advantage of direct interaction with the farmers throughout their study period as the training centre for farming community is also running at the college campus.

     The mission of the college is to create conducive atmosphere for agricultural education that shall foster the growth of intellectually capable, innovative and entrepreneurial professionals with noble human qualities who shall contribute to the growth of Agricultural Science and Technology and harness it duly for the welfare of the nation and mankind.
