1. PADDY  RESEARCH  SCHEME  :-

• To serve as lead station for drilled paddy and drilled paddy based cropping system research.
• Development of short duration high yielding, drought resistant genotypes of drilled paddy suitable for this region and state.
• Development of tolerant genotypes against chlorosis, stem borer and leaf roller.
• Identification of suitable physiologically efficient donors for drought resistant.
• Control of chlorosis through agronomic management.
• Development of agronomic practices including weed management and inter-cropping for drilled rice.
• In corporation of superior grain quality in locally adopted drilled paddy genotypes.

2. OILSEEDS RESEARCH SCHEME:- 

• Identification of early high yielding genotypes of important oilseeds crops of this region.
• Testing the potentiality of introduction of new promising remuneration oilseed crops.

3. NATIONAL  AGRICULTURAL  RESEARCH  PROJECT  :-

• Development and identification of high yielding genotypes resistant to biotic stresses in pigeonpea and chickpea.
• Development of improved agronomic practices for pigeonpea and chickpea for higher production.
• Identification of suitable intercropping system for pulse crop particularly pigeonpea, blackgram  and greengram.
• Evaluation of economic and environment eco-friendly economic plant protection measures for yield stability.
• Development, modification and evaluation of suitable agricultural implements to reduce the cost of production.
• Research on advance water economic irrigation technologies for different cops.
