The College of Horticulture is located at the main campus of the Anand Agricultural University in Anand Karamsad Municipal Corporation, Anand city a District Headquarter of Anand District of Gujarat State. It is situated at a distance of 6 km from Anand Raiway station. It has an average elevation of 39 m and  located at 22.57°N 72.93°E. The College of Horticulture came into existence on April 1, 2017, but it has its origin in the erstwhile as in 2012, Horticulture Wing with affiliation to Anand Agricultural University Anand under the B.A. College of Agriculture, AAU, Anand.  It is premier institution in the state for imparting dynamic and innovative education programmes in horticulture and its allied fields to meet out modern day challenges of scientific manpower, relevant research and effective extension services. Since the start of this college in 2012, as many as 477 students in B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture., The student of this college got admission in reputed university in the country and outside of country.

              The mission of the college is to impart quality education in frontline areas of horticulture and allied disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels so as to improve competence of the students for professional handling of their respective areas of learning and conduct research, disseminate results for sustainable food security of the state.

              The basic mandate of the college is to develop appropriate human resource for carrying out various horticultural activities in the state and to develop relevant technologies suitable for horticultural activities for the welfare of farming community of the state and to disseminate horticultural technologies, sustainable development of horticulture among the various stakeholders.
