Young Scientist Award received by Dr. GayatreeJadeja, KVK Arnej

          Dr. GayatreeRajendrasinhJadeja, Scientist (Home Science), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Anand Agricultural University, Arnej, received the Young Scientist Award by Society for Scientific Development In Agriculture and Technology (SSDAT) for her outstanding contribution in the field of Foods and Nutrition on the occasion of International conference on Global Research Initiatives for Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences (GRISAAS-2017) during 02-04 December, 2017 held at MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur (Rajasthan).

          Dr. GayatreeJadeja had delivered nice oral presentation entitled "Effect of oat raisin breakfast biscuit on blood sugar levels of diabetic patients". Her presentation was appreciated by the chairmen of the technical session and the study was concluded by useful recommendation in the concluding session of the conference. She had also participated for poster presentation. The title of the poster was "Knowledge and Adoption of Improved technology by Cumin growers of Ahmedabad district".

          In this international conference Dr. Jigar H. Patel, Scientist (Animal Science) had also participated for oral as well as poster presentation. The title of the research paper for oral presentation was "Breeding practices adopted by professional breeders of Kankrej cattle in Banaskantha District of north Gujarat state". His presentation was appreciated by panel members and was considered as recommendation in the concluding session of the conference. The title of his paper for the poster presentation was "Feeding practices adopted by professional breeders of Kankrej cattle in Banaskantha district of Gujarat state".
